GOT SNOW??? MI WUK'S "GOT SNOW"!

I left home today, Friday, midday, and by 4 p.m. Mi Wuk Village was beginning to get  a good dumping of snow.  The rain I'd been driving through en route to Dublin had hit Mi Wuk and environs.  Here's what's coming, at a glance:

You can click here for the National Weather Service's Advisory and Warnings.  Most of the details seem to be for north of Hwys 80 and 50 but the reference is to the Motherlode so that means us as well.

Click here for the interactive "click here" map that I referenced at the beginning of this article.

All in all, if you're not already up in the Mi Wuk Village/Sugar Pine/Sierra Village areas, count on a slow trip up the hill and some good shoveling once you get here.

Russ, my husband reported that the snow began around 4 p.m. and by 8.30 p.m. there was 8" at our house.  I'm sure that's what's happening all around the village.

I'll be home Sunday--after attending an all day/evening scrapbooking session in Pleasanton on Saturday.  Safely inside, out of the elements.  BE SAFE PLEASE!
