DOZERS OPERATING BEHIND SIERRA VILLAGE, MI WUK and SUGAR PINE

SUNDAY evening bulldozers came up Highway 108 enroute to the Shaded Fire Break that was created behind these communities several years ago.  Their goal is to re-clear a huge swath of growth along the fire break.  If you hear creaking and clanking in the forest behind you, don't be alarmed. They'll be operating 24/7 until the swath meets their goal.
