According to CALFire Captain Mike Spears "These meetings that we are holding are intending to dispel all these rumors that are out there in the community. These facebook pages and media outlets that are using our computer systems are really detrimental to what we are trying to do here... and the information center and the Tuolumne county emergency operations center. We have information that goes out on some of these pages and it really ties up our phone lines here in the help center and takes away from the job that we are really trying to get done."
