MAY 25th.........WILL TODAY BE THE LAST DAY OF 'WINTER'?

After several weeks of spring or summer like weather, this morning announced itself in a darned chilly manner.  We had turned off our furnace thinking the cold weather had finally left----although it had not yet snowed on the proverbial Dogwood Blossoms.  51 degrees inside; 38 degrees outside.

So........we built a fire to warm the place up!

Snow is forecast for 5000', or maybe 5500' feet, or.............maybe 4500' for today or tonight.  Then the snow will fall on the dogwood blossoms and winter will be over.   And that'll be just in time for the unofficial start of summer on Monday, Memorial Day.

Isn't it fun living in the high country?  I know I wouldn't live anywhere else!  HAVE A SAFE WEEKEND EVERYONE.

or.........might it soon become........
